Great bar staff rallying around to make up for a poor set up, overall poor management. Had a small function booked, breakdown in communication at the top resulted in long waits. 'no chef till Monday' is pretty appalling for a place so big too. Such a great building and location, its a real shame. The lack of professionalism is just a joke. I actually spoke to someone high up before the day who sounded drunk on the phone. Ive since heard this place is going down the pan...looks like it :( Hats off to the female bar staff who did all they could.
This hotel is under new ownership an they are improving the rooms however not all of them have been finished so if they are busy which they rarly are not you may find your self in an older room. All the beds are comfy and the new rooms are fantastic however it's a bit of luck to get one
Really friendly staff - much improved since recent new management. Had bar meals - really nice and good value.
A lovely experience staying here. The staff couldnt do enough for us. The food and drinks where top standards. The room with a beautiful sea view and very comfortable. We will be returning again without a doubt. Lovely, lovely people . Thank you
New owners, beautiful decoration. Food not great at the moment but they have just opened and not everything is in order yet. The rooms will be very good when all the decor has been revamped. The owner and staff are very helpful and pleasant to talk to.
