Really nice good sleep if you want a good place to sleep for cheap

Its good value for money and room 10 was clean and spacious bed comfortable we enjoyed

I stay at hartlepool studios frequently. It is cleaned to a good standard and everything runs smooth most of the time. I have however experienced problems with them in the past where I have been given a room that had not been cleaned once and had to book elsewhere instead. There has also been a couple of occassions when I have been given the wrong door code for the room and as there is no direct number to call for help and no reception. It was quite a lengthy process to retrieve the right codes. The studios do however have a cooker, fridge and microwave which is great! It does get cold especially in the winter due to the single glazed windows. Overall, for the price they charge, its decent when there aren't any complications.

Clean and quiet. Not bad for the price. Bathroom reasonable shower not powerful but plenty of room. Cooker fridge and kettle provided. Keypad entry to rooms all easy enough.

The great thing about this place is its convenience for those travelling by train as it is a close walk from Hartlepool station. This means it is also pretty close to the town centre and its shops and also close to the large marina. The property is quite inexpensive so it can be regarded as offering good value. Of course value is also a function of many things and not only cost so you would need to think about its value relative to your own criteria. The building is small, old and reeks of handyman as opposed to professional finish. This is not necessarily bad of course. It was clean enough, had a comfortable bed, and a working shower and toilet in a small ensuite. It supposedly also had a small kitchen facility but I could not even imagine using it. In fact, I struggle to believe it is safe or legal. Take a look at the picture I uploaded. Mixing electric stove hotplates with a kitchen sink seems pretty weird to me.Being very old the floors creak a lot. When neighbours move around at night it creates quite loud noises which can be very disturbing if you aren't sleeping soundly. Take ear plugs! Finally, be aware that this place is not suited to anyone with mobility problems. The spaces inside are cramped and access to the building requires negotiating a couple of oversize steps and a heavy door.
