Beautiful sea view room, excellent customer service from all staff. Really enjoyable stay.
The room we had at the hotel was clean but that is the best thing we can say. It definitely needs a makeover. The mattress on the bed was old and lumpy and needs replacing as fires the very thin duvet. The heating was never on. There was no toilet roll holder in the bathroom and the bathroom tiles need attention. The floorboards were really creaky when walked on. The floorboards in the room above were also very creaky, we could hear every footstep above us. Needless to say we would not stop there again.
Went with a large group for xmas dinner (lunch time) all served quickly and food was good self service carvery good choices and plenty I had starters of prawn cocktail and cheese cake for desert all very nice. Good atmosphere.
This hotel is in serious need of a refurbishment! Arrived at 8pm at night only to find no hot water in the room because it had all been used. Also the room was full of cob webs that I had to clean. The food was awful and I think everything on the menu is deep fried. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone and will never be staying again! The only redeeming factor is the staff were friendly
