Absolutely appalled by the customer service with Elliot Mcarthey and they phone manner in which I was given this morning. Just came off a very frustrating phone call from the receptionist as she rudely spoke over me and did not listen to anything I was saying. I was originally a patient with Elliot mcarthey as an NHS patient a few years ago. After being away for a few years you come off the books as a patient. When I moved back I rang the dentist to see if I can register again, I was told they werent taking any more NHS patients on. Which is the majority of Hartlepool dentists. After a month or so I rang back to see again if they were taken on agiain this time I was in unbearable pain and urgently needed to see a dentist. I was told the only way Id see a dentist is if you had to pay for the app 150 for a 5 minute app. I reluctantly paid by only because I had no other option I needed to see someone for the pain. Now in the new year I have rang and asked are they taking nhs patients on. This time they were. As I was given the receptionist my details to go ahead and register I was quickly interrupted and said I would be able to register as an nhs patient as I had already paid privately few months ago. As I was trying to explain to them that i only paid because I had no choice as I needed to see a dentist the woman on the phone spoke over me very rudely and at no point gave me a chance to speak. Absolutely furious at the way I was spoken to, its basic telephone manner when dealing with the public to listen, youre not a automated service! For a company who apparanly prides themselves on being proffessional I didnt experience it at all. It just proves they are in it to get as much money as they can from you and not sympathetic to the patients needs. Thank you, you have done me a favour, I will not be reccomending this dentist to any of my friends and family.

I went to the surgery to get the front gap closed on my teeth. Jon was extremely helpful he not only put me at ease when I got there answering any of my questions but the results are amazing ! I was only there for 2 hours having the procedure done. The only regret I have is not doing this sooner. I cannot thank Jon enough for helping me regain my confidence thank you
