A great day out for young and old. There's plenty to see and do. We had a guided tour of the Trincomalee this visit and it was very interesting. We learned a lot. The ship gets very low the lower down the ship you go so mind your head. There was a gun/ canon display which was interesting and the children present enjoyed it. Especially the boys having their photos taken with a gun. There is a cafe to have a brew and a sticky bun or a pie. The museum is wheelchair friendly. The ticket you buy is valid for a year. Well worth a visit.
Great place to visit lots to see and today RML THE FAIRMILE arrived for restoration to her former glory the rescue motor launch saw service in world war 2 and as a ferry later in life
Excellent effort put in to make it a truly authentic experience. Well worth the entry.
An excellent place to visit, lots to see & learn. Staff are friendly & demonstrations/talks are brilliant. History quay has a lovely cafe with reasonable prices too...
A very evocative feel for the period. An amazing experience on board the HMS Trincomalee. And the displays of the trades of the time were informative and fun to see. Well worth a visit.
