Visited a couple of times over the years then got married in the captain's cabin in 2014. A lovely venue with lots of history. Very quirky for a wedding venue. Friendly and very helpful staff. Been to past music events on the ship, which were great.
Full day out. Very interesting and educational. Lots to look at and do for all ages. Guided tours, demonstrations and a good cafe. Well worth a visit and ticket lasts for whole year.
Amazing, informative, educational, excellent displays, staff fantastic, well informed. The day we went it was freezing, blowing a gale, and the ship was rocking and gave a real sense of being at sea with the wind in the rigging and creaking below decks.Altogether,a great day out!!!
Great day out for the family. And if you like history good to see how they lived and how they restored the Trincomalee.
A great place for the family to visit, this tells the tale and history of HMS Trincamolee as part of the Royal Navy during the age of sail. Well worth visiting, there is a series of small buildings that show the supporting infrastructure and some have been converted to a cinema to play films documenting the stories too. A small cafe for snacks too.
