Absolutely lovely! It's the best place to go and get a cod and then you can go and sit by the sea.
Take away food quality great but the service is very poor. 5 customers in takeaway waiting to be served one girl serving. There were another 5 staff behind the counter, not one of them came to the front to serve a customer. Gives perception of taking customers for granted.Gave them another chance last week, service absolutely terrible, staff constantly ignoring customers to chat amongst themselves, then when eventually there were chips available they made up orders for the restaurant first leaving all the takeaway customers waiting again. Walked out and won't be back. Terrible attitudes.
Nice little place, can't fault the price. From 6 small cod, chips, side, drink and slice of bread and butter. Can get busy at times.
Rang up to order gluten free fish and chips. Great response sorry we arent doing gluten free today because we are too busy !!!!!! Youve just lost some regular customers that have bought fish and chips every Sunday for 10 years. Went to Fat Face and got gluten free fish and chips no hassle at all
A very popular fish restaurant! This is a well run restaurant, we didn't have long to wait for our order to be taken and our waitress couldn't be more helpful. The small cod and chips with tea/coffee, mushy peas/curry, bread and butter is a popular choice and we thoroughly enjoyed our meals. It's not our first visit and we will return again soon.
