Brilliant take away. Clean and fresh. Food always amazing
I've been a regular of Thai Pan since they opened back in the early-mid 2000's.I know the previous owner well, and whenever he was present he was helpful, friendly, and took customer complaint seriously (with professionalism included too). Sadly, the new individuals who're trying to run this business that has stood strong for many years, don't have much of a clue. Drove to collect my order - returned home to find the crispy noodles very hard like wire. I rang up to complain and a young girl told me to wait. Speaks to chef (likely new owner) and I hear him in the background "they're not hard" etc, in a moody tone. Told her I heard him and that I've been a regular for many years and that I am not lying. Then I'm told the noodles are made fresh every day - when my complaint was the consistency, not the freshness. Sorted the order out in the end but that's after asking me if I could drive back, despite it being their error. They delivered in the end.Other issues include unprofessional dress code as if they don't care too much (jeans with mobile phones in back pockets/leggings). Not telling you part of your order cannot be given (naan bread) but refund you anyway. Also longer waits for orders. Thai Pan used to be my favourite takeaway in the town but now I feel like avoiding just because of the customer service, mainly.Heard the owner used to work for Thai Village in the town - I wonder why he left?The original owners need to return, and I hope this happens as the business had a brilliant reputation - it's a shame to see where it's going now.EDIT: piece of plastic in one of the meals in a recent order. Never had this issue before until now.
I have been a regular at Thai Pan for over 10 years. The food has been fantastic, full of flavour, loads of meat and enormous portions.Sadly though the original owners have rented the place out to new management as of Nov 2018. Its not the same anymore. The quality has nosedived. My food was tasteless, runny and very very greasy. The new kitchen hand should go and see the previous chef and ask her how to cook Thai food. She was a REAL chef!I will also miss my chats with the previous owners. They knew the meaning of customer service. I wait for the day when they return.
I can only imagine they are under new ownership as the food was not a patch on the usual standard. Food was very poor, part of our order was missing and they short changed me by 3.I used to LOVE my Thai takeaway but I would be going back again.
Cmon guys get my order right.....and answer the phone ffs Ill give it two months or your history. Sounds harsh but if you come good Ill sing your praises.......
