Good vets but a bit pricey

I only attended this vets for their vaccination for life offer. I checked the price 3 times before signing up. Our pup needed her first vaccine too so it would be 119. Confirmed this 3 times with staff on 3 different occasions, including right before treatment. As soon as she had her vaccine they remembered it's not 119, but 156. Staff were rude and didn't see a problem with increasing the price after treatment as "I would have to pay for the first vaccine no matter where I went" completely missing the point that I wouldn't have gone there if not for the offer.I was speaking with the practice manager and one of her receptionists (who I hadn't even spoken to) had to keep getting involved by repeating "yes and we've apologised" from across the room. Very bizarre. Asked for complaints procedure to be told "I am the manager, there's nobody to complain to." I asked about head office and was told to "Google their number."Disgusting customer service, official complaint raised with head office. The vet himself was nice though.
Vets4pets Hartlepool have the most amazing staff, from the receptionist to the vets. They all genually care about the animals and their owners feelings. They are kind and professional and do a fantastic job. My dog was very poorly but thanks to the treatment she got at vets4pets she survived and got better. I can not thank them enough.
Always helpful caring efficient & friendly staff & vets. Would recommend to anyone first class service every time
