Nice old church
Beautiful church, lovely stained glass windows, lots of history , very interesting, volunteers helpful and welcoming, worth a visit , lots of artifacts to see, a very peaceful place . No car park so have to park on roadside, accessible for wheel chairs users.
Beautiful and spiritual church
last night at the proms excellent night good entertainment all in aid of the soldiers charity in association with the parish church of St hilda. Abbess of hartlepool entertainers the band of the royal regiment of fusiliers with john Rowland and Julie pendleton salute our heroes what a night jb
We met this gentleman and lovely lady in St Hildas Church Hartlepool, we chatted for 15 - 20 mins and I noticed a set of pipes on the seat, which I now know to be Northumbrian pipes, he was good enough to give us a short tune, which we both thought was brilliantly haunting in that setting, hope you enjoy it
