Always love looking at art
Great place of local heritage with a Hartlepool art group gallery and a nice place to have a cuppa/fancy coffee. Would also love to go up the tower but recently it was closed for repair work.
Didn't even know this church was an art gallery, nothing fancy but for a small fee you can go to the top of the tower and see the town from a different perspective. I've lived in Hartlepool all my life and I've never seen this view with my own eyes. It's worth doing if you've not done it before, but unless you're super fit, don't take the stone steps, it nearly killed me.There's a little caf in there that serves food and hot and cold drinks for really fair prices, the staff are friendly and it's a nice little atmosphere.It's free to enter the church/gallery/cafe, so it's worth a visit if you're nearby and if you've never been to the top of the tower I recommend it for the view.
